Last days of flying at the sod farm in Illinois

Here are photos of Meaghan née Mike McIntyre and his new Dixielander and Jack's models along with a note from Jack.

I'll keep you posted on flying and Jack's adventure to Jay's for the new, bigger Anderson Pylon

Folks,

A good Fall Day for SAM electric flying today.  Cold morning but it warmed up to 50F quickly.  Blue sky and light winds with thermals early.  Mac, me and a hawk.  I am getting models ready for Eloy in January.  Poole had family stuff so he was not at the field today.

Mac flew his 36 inch wing span Dixielander and it flew well. It's for the SAM Replica R/C E-powered event.  Still in the trimming stage, but a lot of potential.

My 2007 DX7 transmitter crashed two of my models this Summer.  First my big Racer then a Replica FUBAR.  Both strait in with vertical dives.  Anyone want a free DX7 transmitter?

So, a new DX8 G2 transmitter.  Flew my Challenger and Crusader with the new transmitter today.  Also, my E-Tex Airborn the last few weeks.  No problem with the new transmitter.
