Today at 7:05AM Robert Walter (AKA Bucky) passed away to our Lord from cancer. We have certainly lost a great flying brother, passionate aeromodeler, and friend. Bucky spent most of his life flying RC aircraft, educating our youth about the hobby, and building his and other flyers models in his shop. On top of all that Bucky was a great friend. If I ever needed to get a hold of Bucky, I knew where to find him. He helped keep our field looking beautiful by mowing every week and coming up with great ideas to help improve the field. He was truly a book of knowledge and fun to talk to.
Bucky, did not pass alone. His wife Joan was by his side till his last breath and by frequent visits from his friends.

He truly was a gentleman and a great contributor to the hobby. The angles in Heaven will rejoice being with him and hearing of his flying stories,
In his passing we all lost a great friend of aviation. Say a prayer for his family especially his wife Joan.
