Stu Warner's Westburg WS-3 Pursuit (part 2)

It might come in at a decent weight. I should have weighed the wing before sanding. It developed a huge pile of sawdust before done. Final weight - 6.0 0z. I did weigh the stab before and after sanding. Before 1.5 oz - after - 1.2 oz. The rough total for the three so far is 8.0 oz.   Dick Thompson called 

(out of the blue?? - man is the old boy network fast) last night and asked if I would be interested in a Cyclone Jr.  He also had blue and yellow silk. I should have asked if he had a kit for the Pursuit.

Under Construction: Stu Warner's entry for the upcoming 2014 Toledo Show (part 1)

 Again, something unusual  is coming out of Stu Warner's shop for the Toledo Show. Last week, he paid Bucky Walter a visit to show him his progress.


Hi Guys,

Stu brought parts of his model to show me which he is building for Toledo.
The wing is actually a gull wing at the very center out to the fourth rib.
The instruction sheet mentioned it was powered by a Baby Cyclone engine.
Stu told me the instructions sheet and the plans are a bear to follow.
The wing span is 64 inches.
Good thing we are having a very cold winter so Stu has a lot of building
time.

Jasco Flamingo Build III

Lots of sanding and shaping when I can get outside. Now on to the vertical fin and rudder.

Built with full depth spars rather than bent cap strips.

They start with R/C and work up to Flight Flight

Super 'Phatic, the CA alternative?

Lighter to build with, because it actually dries rather than cures, this glue is used in a manner similar to building with Cyanoacrylate.
